Generic software like Tally and Vyapar wasn't designed for this. Spreadsheets break down at scale. Measurement apps handle logs but not shipments. There was no single platform that covered the full timber export workflow.

Punj Shah is a Master of Computer Application with 15+ years in the software industry — spanning AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and enterprise Java — running his own software company. He also runs an import-export business trading timber and agricultural commodities. Years of hands-on timber exporting combined with hands-on software development is what led to LumberLinq: built by someone who has actually done both jobs, not guessed at one from outside.
